
Davorka Radovčić
Davorka Radovčić (PhD 2011, University of Michigan, USA) is the senior curator of the Krapina Neanderthals and the Anthropological Collections at the Croatian Natural History Museum in Zagreb. Her research focuses on Neandertals, Homo naledi and modern humans.
She has taught at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb (Human Evolution, 2016/2017). She held an Honorary Research Fellow position at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Radovčić earned her Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the University of Zagreb, Croatia (2004), and her Master’s degrees in Anthropology (2008) from the University of Michigan, United States. She specializes in paleoanthropology, museum studies, and cultural heritage. Her scientific interests include the evolution of man, the evolution of symbolic behaviour and the prehistoric archaeology of Croatia and the Mediterranean area.
