Stefano Magri

Stefano Magri (M.A. degree in Biodiversity and Evolution 2022, University of Bologna) is a biologist and currently a PhD student in Cultural and Environmental Heritage at the same university.

In his formative years, he cultivated a keen interest in dentistry, becoming a dental technician. His thesis work delved into the histology of teeth, with a specific focus on the enamel growth timing in the deciduous first molars from two early medieval Italian necropolises. Presently, his doctoral is dedicated to the histological examination of dental cementum, aimed at developing an automated method for estimating age at death in adult individuals and identifying life history events linked to sexual development, including childbirth and menopause.
